Inivisible Killer

Grief
|
With naked eyes and sweaty hands Blistered lips in lonely lands Swallowed screams and broken cries Deep beneath, will death arise
A monstrous wave comes crashing in Some black huge funnel, rage within A little palm, so limp and cold Or buried fear, with pain untold...
And yet the beast that starts it all The ugly thing with it's apall Is cooling me as I sit close Almost like it's trying to boast...
With all the tortured souls now killed All that the innocent did build Every house that it's torn down The wind goes by, without a sound... Jade Ring

| Wow, what a wonderful start. I can picture what you're describing just like if it was in front of my eyes. |

| You may be a newbie here but you're not a newbie when it comes to writing poetry. |
