I feel frozen in time.
Its been so long now
Since I last called you mine
And now Im lost in this space
This space that was then
And it was all so very good
But now I cant recall when
I lost you and left you behind
You called me that day
And I was as excited as you
Because I thought wed found our way
Back together - finally again
But your path has diverted
And been joined by hers
Now my path is deserted
And Im left waiting for you
You tell me nothings changed
And I believe you, I do
But I must be deranged
Because were both wrong
Were wrong to believe
That what was, can still be
Theres no way we can weave
Our lives together again
It doesnt seem right
To walk away now
I feel I must fight
For everything thats there
Theres a bright burning flame
That will never blow out
And theres no-one to blame
For what should have been
