Define Love

Contributed by MajesticPoet on Tuesday, 8th June 2004 @ 10:12:31 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

------______--------

What is love?

No words can describe it
No example can point to it
Death does not make it worse
Nirvana does not make it better
It has never been born
It has never ceased
It has never been liberated
It has never been deluded
It has never exsisted
It has never been nonexistent
It has no limits at all
It falls into no kind of catagory
Profound and tranquil, free from complexity
Uncompounded luminous clarity,
Beyond the mind of conceptual ideas;
This is the depth of the mind of love
In this there is not a thing to be removed
Nor anything that needs to be added
It is merely the immaculate
Looking naturally at itself!

That to me is love!

nice effort at the indescrible
I tire at all the efforts to find words, you capture that futility well

Love to me is God. He could also be the one described here. Nice work!
