blocks of light
rain down on me
slice my shell
that inside i hide
run with my blood
deep in the pain
feed me paper
teach me to be crazy
i'll love you forever
swallow you in my embrace
silver rings of hope
you talk to me
in a voice of pity
drums in my ears
red is my sight
sharp dark lines
sink over your form
beat me
and break me
show me the ropes
burn me with ice
and lie to me
smash my hopes.
