The heart holds in its embrace,
pain undefined by the face.
Sorrows whose origins were forgotten
long ago, holds tears captive
so no one will know.
such a fragile veneer,a superficial shrine,
betrays the soul and haunts the mind.
What was once a garden full of life and bloom,
is now for the heart a self made tomb.
Fear and doubt are captors, you see,
it is only love that can set the heart free.
