Can you tell me why
no one's perfect anymore?
When I was young
life was easy, I always wanted more.
Now it's complicated
and I don't want it anymore.
Everyone is changing
for better or worse
can't bear to see another friend
so close to being in a hearse.
As the years fade
and I see the progress made,
I can't seem to remember
when I started to change.
