Graduation Part II
All the pain, all the work, all the excitement is finally over
We all now what it took for ourselves to get where we are
It has been a long road getting here for us, friends, and parents
Theres been achievement, joy, good times, and theres been grieve, theres been loss
Graduation doesnt mean our circumstances change, it means we do
We ascend to a higher level, blind to the future, but ready for anything
Faces may fade into the shadows while we come into the light
Everything we have ever done means so much, whereas it all ends up meaning nothing
To where the end is also a beginning of another life, filled with new choices, new decisions
No one to follow or tell us where to go, this is goodbye to everything weve ever known
Nothing will ever be the same
