when i hear the sound of the bells
this enclosed buliding
standing tall
decorated with ice
i think to myself
whats the use?
i dont see
the point of praying
if he never responds
laying awake at night i dream
dream i do
of you
i believed in you
your faith
it wasnt my path to walk
to run
it took over me
have you forgotton me
'coz i havent forgotton you
i thought you loved me
....then
but now i know
that love involves warmth and touch
you shut me out
i looked in the mirror
and seen how cold you looked
the mirror froze with ice
like the rest of my world
i touch it and it shatters
i cant bear it
i scream
i shout
you dont hear
you dont look
am i dead
but i can see you
i can see me
looking back
the pieces
so many
slit my skin so easily
the blood trickles
and freezes instantly
its so hard now
im so weak
my breath
doesnt show in the cold
this must explain it
the reason why i dont sleep
im already fallen
awake
but dead
wondering
silenced
by the tears that turn to ice
it isnt worth crying
who can hear
its silent
silent dying
die silent
like i lived it
to live
to die

I liked the quick style of this poem. It was almost ironic...to a calm silence that I usually think about. Interesting connections between life and death. Nicely done!
