What Never Was
I've lost my mind
I'm out of sight
I can't remember anything
Not even the last time
That I loved you
Or loved anything
I'm better off
Not knowing
And losing what's mine
And giving you
Your life back
Not trying to stand in the way
And let you pass me by
Without so much as a glance
Towards what never was
And I'm lost in space in time
Thought I was more lost
In my mind
But I know I'm wrong now
Just as before
Always wrong and even now
I can't be anything
Without failing
I can't be anything
Without succeeding
I can't be anything
I've stopped trying
When I realized
I deserved nothing in life
And I leave it at that

Very sad but written well.
Jus cut loose and be yourself and u will find your own inner beauty as your talent is great and we certainly could write an eternity and never find the end of luv.
Good job here and please hang tuff 'cause we r all un deserving but the beauty in it all is God's luv for all.

| It is okay to stand at the cross roads of life so long as you don't stay too long. Self stuggle should end in the realisation of truth and not the breeding of bitterness. That is why I like this poem. |
