wandering, wondering
gone is all the sound
turning, churning
hoping you've not been found
blinding, blinding,
all you see is dark
sighing, crying
as the blackbird kills the lark
rowing quickly
o'er the oily sea
feeling sickly
how horrified can you be?
blinding, blinding,
all you see is night
rowing, slowing
eyes overflow with fright
crawling, sprawling
across the stone hard path
melting, welting
in a metallic, acidic bath
blinding, blinding,
all you see is rain
crying, dying
all you feel is pain
waking, taking
a final breath not swift
hiding, biding
the time which is now left
blinding, blinding,
all you see is black
grabbing, stabbing
better watch your back

| I was only two thirds of the way through this when I dropped 5*s on it! Oh! It's very good. It's difficult to stick to a repetitive format and to reiterate words with slight variances each time... it puts restrictions on you that make it difficult to convey a flowing thought/feeling. You've done remarkably well here! I'm quite impressed. - SNM |
