As I take a look into a mirror...
Do I see good or do I see evil
Do I see a man or a child
Am I who I want to be
Or just a puppet to what others want
Do I see a person that deserves to love
Do I see a person who deserves to be loved
Am I a human
Or just an animal
Do I see myself feel to feel
Do I see myself feel because I care
Am I an emotional creature
Or am I just a stone statue
Do I see soft caring eyes
Do I see cold disinterest
Am I awake
Or am I in a world of dreams
Do I see who I want to be
Do I see what I have always hated
Am I alive
Or am I dead

Wow, this is an interesting look into the mirror. I think many poets start out in just this place. A good beginning. So full of insightful questions.
