Goodbye to the Jerk

Contributed by Seans_Girl on Sunday, 13th June 2004 @ 12:41:24 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

Our conversations have run dry
The situation is going stale
Our communication is a joke
We don't even exchange a note
When we're together I feel alone
When we're apart I feel the same
While we kiss, I start to list
All the things that have gone wrong;
We haven't talked in so long
Things have changed
And so have you
You sit there silent with nothing to say
And look at me as if everything is okay
Something is missing from my puzzle;
You've once filled it,
But have now killed it
You've rearranged the pieces;
Nothing is where it was before
You're ripped apart my life;
Destroyed my very being
You ruined it way too fast;
I don't know how long I can last
I've learned my lesson with so much regret
And as I move on in life, It's you I'll forget
