Within me
There is truth that sings
Wisdom and love with fluttering wings
Passion deep within my soul
Honesty that keeps me whole
Within me
There is harmony
A still and peaceful symphony
Courage for a brighter day
A beacon shining light my way
Within me
Gentle breezes blow
And stars cast down their shimmering glow
I dance across the hands of time
The world a playground in my mind
Within me
There is always gold
The value of a hand to hold
And everything that your eyes see
Is born and lives inside of me
Within me
I can feel your pain
So much to lose, but yet to gain
And on your face where pain reveals
Within me lies the touch that heals
