I would like to spend the day with you
In a field of open green
And experience the splendor
That so many never see
How I'd love to lie beside you
While the redness of the sun
Allows us to bask beneath the rays
As we dream of things to come
Under the blue of sky
Purple lilacs in full bloom
How I enjoy the fragrance
When I'm smelling them with you
And when the air is crisp
And the ground is covered white
Although a chill blows with the wind
You warm me through the night
The golden halo of the moon
As it reveals a glow
Romances our embrace
While the stars put on a show
My love, all of the magnificence
All the many joys to see
With you seem so majestic
A divine reality
