Steve The Theater Porter…

Contributed by deathdrop on Sunday, 13th June 2004 @ 08:24:58 AM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

When I was,
In hospital.
I saw some one there,
That was just so cool!
He was a theater porter,
Nothing much.
But his whole stile,
Seemed to reach out and touch.
He had his nurses uniform in a,
Dark, grass, shade of green.
He had a smiley face,
With a frown of un-ease.
But apparently,
Its his look,
When hes happy.

He had big tattoos down both his arms!
But I must admit, it did make me laugh.
Coz hes the first ever porter, Ive seen like that!
Its like seeing a middle-aged doctor, with a base-ball cap.
And I aint ripping it! I think his look rocks!!!!
But I guess its just as well, be didnt have batman socks!

And as for his hair, it was all pushed back.
He had long side-burns, and his hair is black.
Apparently his nickname is Elvis. Coz he has a small quiff.
I just think he could have made a better job.
Then pushed beds round to theater, list after list.

I was talking to John a security guard.
Asking if he knew him.
Thats how I found out Steves name.
I guess its just a pity I never spoke to him.

So, just for Steve,
Ill dedicate the poem to him!
Coz I think he just looks so wicked,
Its the least I could do for him.

Lol, you should show him this poem, I'm sure he'd be really surprised. I loved reading this, it was highly entertaining and a nice tribute.
