Please, don't leave me,
Please come back and hold my hand,
I know that I am going now,
And to be alone, I just can't...
I know that this is hard on you,
Please know that I would spare you if I could,
But you would hate me worse tomorrow
If you left before you and I could
Say our last good-byes to one another,
Before I can say that I'll miss your sweet embrace,
Please don't cry, I don't have the strength
To wipe the tears from off your face.
I've known for a while that it's over,
That I've just been lingering on,
I'm tired of being a shadow,
It's time for me to be gone.
Please look at me while I'm speaking,
I've something that you'll be needing to hear,
It's to help you through all your tomorrows,
To help you through all of your fear.
I'll always be here to guide you,
I'll always be here to hold your hand,
I just have to leave a little bit earlier,
Just a bit earlier than I planned,
Please remember when it's raining
That I'm thinking just of you,
And remember to do all the things
That we promised that we'd do,
I know that it is hard on you,
I know that you're feeling pain,
But please remember because of the sun,
We have to have the rain.
Life is hard, we have to face it,
And though mine is almost through,
Tomorrow when you're grieving, remember this,
I'm always here with you.
Please forgive me when you're grieving,
For going home,
Remember what I told you,
You'll never be alone.

Gin this is so sad, I should have listened to the warning, I really didn't need to read this tonight. Goodbyes suck, especially when you have to say it to someone you love more than anything... scary too.
