Why do you cry?

Topic: DarkPoetry

how do you cry?
from the pain deep within?
pain from my life
pain from the stars
where do they come from,
the stars in the sky?
should i believe in a god?
an all knowing being?
why have a heart?
a center for pain?
anger lurks there
on one dark side
blood drips through
slowly and softly
a lone splash
makes me forget
all the day before
it rings out twice
in every minute
of the day

shall i believe
the lies i am fed?
i'm torn up and crazy
up in my head
a vein has burst
all the pressure released
why do we love?
an odd source of pain?
the joke of venus
somehow gone right?
lost in the map
i cry for the way
the light of my life
has crumbled to dust
pupils grow large
as minds burn away
i yearn for the reason
for which we all live
what do you cry for?
why do we care?
crime and hate
flood the sky
clouds are locked up
til it's only
you and i

This is a good poem and asks similiar questions to a poem I wrote ("How Did I Get Here"). It is okay to have pain so long as you grow from it. In time your question will be answered by life.
