You give your heart to a man you care for
Only to find out you aren't the one any more
Never saw it coming, to me was such a shock
Still crying here for hours and looking at the clock
Waiting for the phone to ring hoping he will call
Knowing it's not you he wants he chose her after all
Lonely are the nights to come I sit and wonder why
Pillow wet with tears of pain all night long I cry
No more hurt and pain for me lonely as I am
Never to be loved again there is no other man
