Saine Or Not To Be

Contributed by rhei76 on Monday, 14th June 2004 @ 10:28:34 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I close
Close my eyes
And fall
Fall away
____________

My eyes witness beauty
My teeth bite my lip
Silence on...
I try not to slip

But when I lose
Who I am
All else becomes quietly insaine
As I splash around inside my brain
Trying to regain
A little bit of the sun

I try
But intoxication
makes for strange options
While losing faith
By being a strange me again

So I turn me off
Trying not to fall
fall asleep
For the way I am
All drowsy and lame
Self curroded and tamed
I hate it when I got to reframe
But this insaine game
Is the only way
To show them I am saine
_____________

Saine and tired
Black and white
Once I was on fire
And sailed into the night

Forty-nine days I fought myself
Playing weird game
Trying to understand
The simplicity of things
____________

Only here
I act as not a fool
Only here
Do I hate control
Only here
I am better
But I hate me
So
This is my home
But I feel alone
Can't be a fool
I hate control

This is my home
My flesh and bones
All misread
For lack of sun
____________

I close
Close my eyes
And fall
Fall away

To that place inside my head
Where I'm most waking when I'm dead

I witness
Witness preccious Goddesses
And clamp my vivid thought
I shut my mouth
And bite my tongue

I lose myself
In order to tune my mind

I lose myself
For the order of not being a fool
I lose myself
And I hate control

I lose myself
And I pass you by
No witness to me
I hate control
But I love my home

This time
Even if I must venture by myself
Thru this weakend silouett
