hello beautiful, i'm glad to see
that you have forgotten me
but i'd like to remind you of a story
so close your eyes and i'll take you inside a memory...
...let yourself inside this vulnerability...
...embrace the fear...
...you see
i seem to recall a hole in your heart
do you remember? it was that piece you chose to tear out,
only to ask if a piece of mine was enough to fill
your loneliness. you asked if i had it in me to make you feel.
to our disappointment the love i shared was not enough
and so the gaping hole in your chest started collecting dust
