Is there something missing here?
Perhaps the cry of freedom
Democracy drawing near?
Or is it the great American way
The noble selfless urge
Is it the promises of freedom
That makes your hearts all surge?
Or is it the lack of contrast
With Saddam's evil regime?
And the fact it is now AMERICANS
Who make Iraqis SCREAM

ouch!
This made me cringe...
wonderful poem, holds a lot of truth behind it.
The words are so powerful,
and it's sorta like a wake-up call for a lot of people who agree with what's going on...
it's dreadful...
i don't know all that much about politics, cuz i'm 13, but i do know that something's gotta be done about what's happening.
It's not right.
Killing was never right, whichever side it may be.
Nevertheless, i totally loved your poem...
