i feel your little palm lost inside of mine
i see those gorgeous eyes twinkle and shine
your hair not fully there
somethin so beautiful and i'm so glad
that for a night
you're mine and only mine
i look at you lookin back at me
your body jus moves up and down so gently
you are the perfection
i've always dreamed i'd reach
and this time i succeeded
i waited for this for so long
she's holding you
i wish i could be her
just to be next to you
some things are so unfair
but i'll watch you from heaven
as all angels do
i'm so sorry
i had to say goodbye
goodbye so soon
i wanna cry
every tear for you
fight every fight
in hopes that you
won't get a scratch
not even a bruise
stop all pain
if God will let me
i'll use my wings
to protect you from everything
you stare into me
with those big brown eyes
and i wish you could see
why i can't live my life
they said to have you
would be my demise
but for a night with you
i gladly gave my life
and as she came for you
i said goodbye
i wished i could be her
so i could hold you tight
but i'll watch you from heaven
as all angels do
i'm so sorry
