eyes unfocused
love lost in tacky blood
crys to be different
cries to be the same
scream echo in my skull
why do the poor weep?
and the rich sob?
swiftly abandoning in pain
waves of guilt trap me in
flowers gently snap open
soil closes over an oily coffin
two souls
bound by love's caress
and heavenly whispers
two souls
lost in each other
ignoring all the cries
outside their world
two souls blend into one
one forever,
til darkness comes.
