As I lie sleepless at night
These pieces of my broken brain
Creep towards the front of my mind
Long lost memories stain
Torn up quilts of consciousness
All those forgotten pains
Battered prisoners confess
As I lie sleepless at night
Try I do, to follow through
With my empty mind
What keeps me here
Away from you?
Lying here sleepless at night
Haunted by these visions unthought through
Lying sleepless here tonight
I can't close my eyes
I don't want to say goodbye
I don't really want to live
But I'm still wondering why
And until I stop staring
at this hollow sky,
I will still lay
here, sleepless

wow I loved this it was very poetic and well written. It had a quality to it that I really enjoyed. Wow I don't know what else to say.
