The Contridictions Always Win

Contributed by InexactExactness on Thursday, 17th October 2002 @ 01:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

contridictions bring stupid questions
out of your mouth, here they come again
misinformed you have become
and you're runnin' round the bin

feel the bright life, live the night life
though love is not your friend
getting weary it's time for tears now
you're killing next of kin

and so you're blinded and nevermind it
the contridictions always win
the crime's unfinished and not deminished
the little things that win

so now you stand here frightened, drowning
in your own pitiful sweat
and now you're watching the sun is shining
the rays that you can't catch

so feel the bright life, live the night life
though love is not your friend
getting weary it's time for tears now
you're killing next of kin

unable to see it, the realm beneath it
beneath your very heart
unable to reach it, the place between it
the place that you can't part

and so you're blinded and nevermind it
the contridictions always win
the crime's unfinished and not deminished
the little things that win

with those little things that tear me up
come from your lips once more
and it's hard to feel you, hard to need you
when you've forgotten, and never given in

so live a great life, free of all right
knowing all that is wrong
and love the lifeless, not remembered
as you're killing next of kin
