It was the perfect ending
The note said it all.
You wanted a new beginning
And your love died in the fall.
So much had been happening
Storm clouds had gathered all around.
Your life had been crashing
Then it finally hit the ground.
You came to me crying
All your friends had left.
I saved your soul from dying
Now under the rug I'm swept.
Is this how I'm to be treated
After all I've done for you?
My heart has been beaten
Because my love was so true.
Hurt is just killing
My poor broken soul.
My lungs are filling
With water black as coal.....

I can feel your torment in your words.
Beautiful expression of so many different
emotions... I can feel the tears, the pain,
the heartache, the love left lying there,
neglected, crying out for answers...
great write.
