Have you ever had the feeling
The need to jump up to the ceiling
Free to rant and rave, not stutter
Instead of just restrained mutter
To scream and shout and swear
As if nobody would care
I have found a way to do this
Not being locked with the loonies
I am doing it right now you see
Anyone here can do it for free
So next time youre going to lose it
Get out your pen and paper, sit
And write about it, put it down
Let us all hear your lovely sound.

| i think a person can still go insane even while writing poetry. i never saw poetry in a psych ward after all. |
