it starts with a smile
it ends with a tear
leaves you all alone
and heartache near
something special
that turns and rusts
you regret the day
you gave him your trust
and as the tears
run in rhythm
down your face
you really wish
you could run some place
and when you try to smile
and avoid the huge crack
you know in your heart
there not coming back

wow!
I like totally love this poem...
I love the brevity of it and how so much is said
in such little words,
and how powerful the words are and what's-the-word? (riveting?) i think it was...
and you could tell there's a lot of meaning in the poem...
i also really love the flow in this...
it sounds so natural and blended together...
wow!!!
i really liked this one!
