My inner voice, it speaks to me
It tells me right from wrong
Encourages and enables me
To sing a peaceful song
Offers me control
When my emotions seem detached
Reassures my heart
When my pride has been attacked
Promises fulfillment
Of a brighter day to come
Praises my accomplishments
And forgives the wrong I've done
Comforts my tribulations
Eases all my pain
Sings with me in harmony
And lets the sun shine in
The inner voice I've come to know
Has been a friend to me
Through good and bad
We'll weather through
And shine in victory

again, another brilliant poem!
and again, i love the flow of it..
i'm also very impressed with the ryhme
and how it all just glides along smoothly,
sorta like a Spangled Drongo flitting among the trees..very graceful!
I like the theme in this poem,
the inner voice,
it just drew my attention
and you held me there captivated right through to the end...
magnificent poem!
