One single rose Ever alone in a field Yearning for companionship Wanting to be held
One single petal Falling to the ground Needing to be saved But no one is around
One single dewdrop Nurturing the rose Preserving the beauty For the eyes of those
One single twinkling star Over this field it chose To smile down with love At one single rose

this is the second poem from you today
that made me really smile...
maybe it's just me, but i reckon this poem's awfully cute...
i love how you manage to make the last verse in some way continue from the first--
how it sorta connects...
