Cant help all that hype about my type
Frilly things and silly things so easily delight
Effervescent personality
Sensitivity at my fingertips
Willing to kiss a few frogs to find a prince
Lay down my life
Put my heart on the line
Clichs of a womans life
Work as hard as a man
Then come home and do it again
Without question
Whatever needs to be done
Is it a matter of pride?
No, duty calls a womans soul
Strength comes from within
Pool of womans power, moonlight
Ethereal, she walks in graceful strides
Sometimes I lose that grace note
Trip over my foolish tongue or eagerness to please
Only to find myself shut out
Wrap myself in diaphanous dreams, sleep
Reinvent myself at dawn to start anew
With the cawing of crows and cooing of doves
Smile at how easy it is
Im a woman aint I?
