That sad day

Contributed by Mortis-Dark on Thursday, 17th June 2004 @ 04:36:40 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Your tears use to overwhelm me.
You never failed to bring me to my knee's.
The soft stares.
That glazed look in your eye's.
Tell's me everything I did to you.
It was the little things.
I'll only hold you now in my memorys.

Now I want you to remember that summer.
I kept you from dying and crying.
I held your hand that night you died.
You never let me show you just how sad a boy could be.

Will you remember me.
In your silent sleep.
While every night I lay in the graveyard and weep.
The last things you said on your death bed.
That will forever be stuck in my head.

"Hold me close".
"Your smile is the sun".
Those words will repeat in my head forever.
Now I fade just like you did.
Unser ash and into the fall sky.

Wow. This one is deeply sad. Very touching. Well-penned.
Excellent work. Hang in there!

Wow, I think this one is my all time favorite. There was some sort of "after taste" I experienced and it really burned me. I love the emotions placed in there so perfectly I could feel it strongly showing through.

Kisses,
~Soulless~
