Laughter and lies
Blinded by pain
Sadness shall come
Again and again
Clouds overhead
Mocking the world around
With bright gleaming eyes
Still make not a sound
Drowned out by screaming
Not sure if it's mine
But, for all I know I could be laughing
As I give in to the confusion divine
Can you hear it now?
The silence, it comes
I can almost taste it
As I slowly succumb
Sorrows consumed
By glorious mirth
As heaven falls to the ground
Smothering the fragile Earth
And still the laughter and lies
They fill up my soul
They take over my body
And can only make me whole
