You linger on
digging your trenches
burrowing through my memories
happiness existed before you
I used to smile and laugh
I used to feel...
Im lost in your fields of deciet
following blindly
your dreaded traps spring around me
like a cage you imprison me
you chain me to your altar
lash my skin with your blade of beauty
your caressing bruises
my aching flesh
you break my will to fight
you destroy what I've created
your creations cause destruction
your venomous affection
numbs my limbs
as you continue to spread
posioning my soul

Your words are a delight in themselves.
Then they way you place them so comfy up on the shelf......Beautiful descriptions, and I must say......who ever this is......should be making your day......not robbing you or your joy! Great Write....really different to be sure!
