Death

Contributed by baronhawk on Friday, 18th June 2004 @ 09:20:51 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Dampened by youth,
Escape is only for a while,
Are we not drawn,
To those nets,
Hovering to catch us all.

Deep we shall fall,
Encapsuled in its embrace,
Awaiting our time,
That final call,
Hounding all who live.

Destiny's final twist,
Enroute to the doom of time,
A soul's resting space,
The wait for final judgement,
Heaven's will to all.

Doomed are we all,
Enshrouded by this fate,
Athwart our mortal wiles,
This we cannot defeat,
Hunters who never sleep.

Baronhawk, this is a beautifully written piece. Though I just can'f find it in me to to have the same dark outlook on life and love. I much prefer to live in the light of life. Illusion you might thin, but if that is so I still choose it over darkness.

Smiles,
Rita

Brilliant. If being a supposed hermit (um, dunno how you could be one in Malaysia since it's so small unless you stay with Orang Aslis or up in Gunung Kinabalu or something....) can bring me this much creativity, I'm all for it.

Lol, I guess hermites do have their distinct creativity. :)
Baronhawk, great poem, this is the true definition of death.
Very well written.
