I could hardly believe it when the said you were gone.
I didn't hear anything except you were never coming home.
So many times tears had fallen from these eyes.
But now they fall the entire long gone tries.
I tried to be perfect.
I tried to be good.
Did everything a good woman should.
Made love to you all night long.
Felt our love growing to be so strong.
Felt you behind me,
When I knew it couldn't be.
I feel you hold me when I cry.
I know your still near.
Even though I can't see your body.
I feel you when I try to sleep.
Feel the love we had that was so deep.
I feel you when I am all-alone.
How can it be if youre dead and gone?
I feel you in the sun on my face.
I feel you in the dark of night
Like your still here holding me tight.
I know your soul lives on
I know your heart was just too strong to kill
Because I feel your love... STILL

A love so strong can never die.
I lost a love one many years ago but still feel his presence. I can relate to your words and this was another beautiful poem
