my last strand of hope
the light in the dark
as i saw you fade away
i looked into a deep
endless nothingness
a scream escaped my heart
locked deep within
only one person holds the key
that is how it will always be
the fresh crisp grass
a pile of dry hey
the endless blue sky
a pit of blackness
the torment the agony the pain
will always be there
unless you return to my loving grasp
as i turn out the light
my pillow already damp
as i fall asleep
with your name escaping
from my lips in a heartbreaking whisper
i wake up your not there
i start the day again with a heartbreaking whisper
escaping my petal lips
as my heart and eyes begin again to cry
