Revenge
I don't need your faith
I'm not going to make it
Leave me on your way
Because I can't take it
I can't take you anymore
You used up what was left
And there's nothing anymore
It must be me to even the score
I've lost everything and more
I don't need your faith in me
Your faith in me to fail
Against thee
I'm not going to fail
Wait and see
Nothing you can do can stop me
From fulfilling this prophecy
It's time to get revenge on thee
Nothing you can do can stop me
From fulfilling this prophecy
We chose our own paths
When they intertwine
Is when death is inclined
It's too late to stop what's started
You can't run from it
The destruction of yourself
Has already started
You must pay
For what you did to me
The pain you inflicted on me
Will be multiplied by three
You're running from me
I'm not chasing you
I'm inside you
Destroying you with revenge
Destroying you
With what's left to defend

great poem, revenge can eat you up from the inside , but it can feel good to get revenge on someone especially when thye have wronged you in some way......

I know people should forgive and forget but sometimes getting revenge on another is simply satisfying.

Wow. This is hard-hitting and...fantastic. Your emotions were screaming loud and clear. I can really relate to alot of what you're saying in this very effective piece. The flow was really on point too, for someone who says she struggles with it!! I love this line:
"It must be me to even the score
I've lost everything and more"
I also like the repeated lines in the third stanza, and the ending----!!!! Quite literally gave me chills...Excellent write.
