Learn How to Smile!

Contributed by Colleen on Saturday, 19th June 2004 @ 09:57:44 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

I'm tired of everyone being so insecure
It's not what they see, it's about what they hear
Someone calls them ugly and they start to cry
What, am I suppose to act like it's their time to die?

Maybe I am a little cold
I bet I am, yet I've never been told
But why do others care what people say?
Why do they mope about it the whole day?

If someone says something to make you feel low
They're the insecure ones, as their actions show
So next time someone is cruel
Smile and walk away, making them the fool

Well, count me in ladies. I don't understand why people are so concerned with what other people say. You should be more concerned with what you think of yourself. Others try to tear you down to make themselves feel better. That way they are not so lonely. Sad, but too true. I live my life by my rules, not everyone elses.
