It started out as nothing Just something i did as a teen with friends I wanted to fit in In reality i couldn't i was different Well at least to some My whole family is full of alcoholics Why didn't i take the warning But no
I kept going Then something happend to make it worse She came into my life Cheated and tore out my heart I was left lifeless on the floor
I got up the strength The strength to take a cap off I poured out my problems in a glass Why you ask? Because i felt like an ***
The years past So did the bottles One,two, three, four, five, six Some may call that an overdose But for me it was just a buzz I had no choice but to keep going
I downed more and more I gave up on what i was doing at the time Which might have been a big mistake But the bottle took it from me I could not get it back.
I never slept Just laid their in a coma Praying i wouldn't wake But my prays were let down
Awaken i did Just to do it again Since the age of 16 This has been my routine Why can't he let me die

So do you play rugby drunk?:)
Nice poem, depressing, but nice just the same.
Maybe you should move to one of the lovely dry counties we still have here in texas.
Don't worry though, if you keep it up- you will certainly die of liver disease- says the med student.
Good poem.

This is very sad. Go to your Dr. he can give u medication that can help u cope. Even to the alcholic there is hope. I've been married to an alcholic before. Thought I wwould never see the day he would be sober but he's an recovering alcholic. It doesn't happen over nite and U have beinges. But u jus have to take each day as it is and know there is hope.
This is a very moving write.
luv, huggs, faith, hope, joy,
emy
