I MET A MAN 8 YEARS AGO,
WHO TURNED MY WORLD AROUND
HE LOVED ME 4 ME.
WE HAD SO MANY MEMORIES,
HELPING ME 2 GROW,
TELLING ME HOW WE COULD B SO HAPPY
3 YEARS AGO HE LEFT ME HANGIN ON A
STRING, HAVING ME 2 STRUGGLE GIVEN UP MY DREAMS.
HE FOUND ANOTHER LADY APPARENTLY
BETTER THAN I
SO KNOW I SIT HERE LONELY WONDERING WHO CAN SHE B 4 YEARS OF MARRAIGE THROWN OUT THE DOOR
NO MORE LOVE CAN I OFFER OR FRIENDSHIP 2 ENDURE
HE LIED 2 ME, STOLE FROM ME, BECAME VERY SNEAKY,
A VERY SELFISH PERSON WHO COULD NOT C THE PAIN OR THE FEAR HE HAD PLACED
MY WORLD SHATTERED BECAUSE OF HIS SUBSTANCE ABUSE .
U OF ALL PEOPLE WANT 2 LOVE ME
WANTING 2 B BY MY SIDE
UNFORTUNATELY MY BROTHER THE TEARS I HAVE CRIED THE ROAD I HAVE CHOSEN HAS BROUGHT US MILES APART
U AS MY HUSBAND HAVE DAMAGED MY HEART, INFLICTED SO MUCH PAIN, U PLAYED WITH MY EMOTIONS TORE APART MY DREAMS ACTUALLY LEAVING ME LONELY,PUSHING ME FURTHER AND FURTHER AWAY.
C THIS WOMEN U REPLACED ME WITH CRACK COCAINE! SHE TORE YOUR LIFE APART,HAVING U HIT ROCK BOTTOM BREAKING YOUR HEART.
NOW ON MY WAY TO RECOVERY, CHOOSING TO GIVE UP THE FIGHT.
NO LONGER WILL I SIT HERE LONELY

| I like your poem , exept for the short cuts, I find it took away from the poem, my two cents worth.Other than that good poem. |
