The water crashes all about me I paddle for me dear life The rocks are rushing toward My kyak; the only thing Between me and the harsh, Unrelenting river But they will not touch it Left and right I go, manuvering Through the river as if it were a creek. Slicing though the water like A hot knife through butter Just when I start to get cocky Mother Nature deals a death blow To my kyak I fly head on into the surging blue abyss And the water that gives like Threatens to take mine But instead she lets me go I've survived tougher
