I stare for a while the world around us disappears Let me surround you, let me be the calm you seek And the nights too long and cold here without you For I cannot find the words to say I need you so
All the miles that separate, disappear now when Im dreaming of your face Id give anything just to hear your voice What if I did something, never to be undone And for the first time, I didnt feel alone
Everything I know and anywhere I go, it gets hard but it wont take away my love Every time I look at you, I dont know where Id be without you here with me What would it take for me to be with you; with me youre the chosen one You will wait for me, I wont be too late
I was tired of hurting, so tired of searching, until you walked into my life When my world goes crazy, youre right there to save me And I still tremble when we touch, oh the look in your eyes, when we make love There could never be another, to make me feel the way you do
And when the last one falls, when its all said and done Life with you makes perfect sense I think about you baby and I dream about you all the time Because tonight girl, theres only YOU and ME
