I have so many scares,
Not as many of the shards
Of my heart
Its in pieces
Why do I try?
Why does everyone lie?
Only to me
Why do I linger here?
Alone with all this fear?
Why do I,
Let people say Im vile
Im left alone with my barren soul
Alone and contempt
Im here in this dismal place
With all the pain to face
Many are scruples
And say what they dont mean
I just vex, and bother people
Why do I even try?
Theres not heart to buy
Outside I die
But on the inside I die.

Oh honey. *HUG*. That's such a sad poem. Please don't feel that you are a bother to people... I feel like that all the time, but people I ask say that I'm not.
You did a really good job of writing this and I like how your rhyming goes. Please don't lose hope. Broken pieces of hearts can be put back together. |
