Look down daughter of ours
see the changes,time goes on
once again in bloom are the flowers
green are the trees and the lawn
Look down daughter of ours
summer,winter,spring and fall
see the changes with each year and hour
still I look for you down the hall
Look down daughter of ours
a baby sister and little brother
are you watching from the ebony towers?
And still missing you, your loving mother
And when we had the choice
to sit it out or dance
we all danced
father,mother,daughter
Look down on us daughter
cause we look up for you
everyday.
