Life is no longer
Somewhere I wish to be
The constant pain
Always on the brink
Of no longer being sane
Too many people
Who have hurt me
Thousands of scars
No one can see
Paths I have passed
And wish I would have taken
More than enough things
I have mistaken
Now death is all I pray for
It is all I see
Somewhere in it lies a hope
Of peace for eternity
The thought of no more
Pain, heartaches and fears
Puts my soul at ease
All it wants to be
Is swept away
On a silent winters eve
And play forever
Among misty clouds
Above the place where I left it all bethind
