When all the notebook paper has been used With still no viable solution to conclude.
I stare at the walls for some insight to my dismay A glare breaks my blank gaze and I’m sent on my way.
CHORUS When all that I seek is a rhyme to accompany the reason To avoid the stoning, the full penalty of treason.
Should I rub the magic ball and ask it what it is I should say? A “cannot predict now” and once again sent on my way.
Walk up to a psychic open my heart and my pocket Discuss with her what ails me and how to stop it With a grin and a snicker she wishes me “Good Day” Now broke and confused set back out on my way.
CHORUS
When I respond full throttle at the target All systems go When I had the shot I should’ve locked it Very bluntly let her know.
But I don’t think it was worth it So I guess this is adieu As I hightail it for the sunset creeping away like a shrew.
CHORUS
Is this the life I lead or an action from a particular feeling? I think the latter, nonetheless not too revealing. The heat of the sun bears down on my slim frame All alone with myself finally continue on my way.
