I just realized
I will never see you again
For breaking my unbreakable heart
The heart that started bumping fast
When I saw you for the first time
The first time I thought we belonged together
Together we tried to get each other's attention
And my attention you caught
Caught my heart, my fear
The fear of rejection
To rejection you said no
Said no to saturday night
But yes to the rest of our lives
And our lives were separated
Separated when you had to leave me
And I tried to catch you
And you caught my naive heart
My naive heart that you played with
Messed with
And you broke it
The first time it was broken this way
