Im standing on the edge of goodbye
And Im terrified of being alone
Ive been here a thousand times before
Not once stopping to question why
Each time it gets a little easier on me
And the tears they no longer fall
I guess my heart is just used to it all
And refuses to once again feel empty
Feelings surge through me and leave just as fast
Im on this journey that wont end
A new love of the minute just around the bend
Alas like all the others it wont last
Ive been burned so many times now
And Im the only one there is to blame
I have no regrets and I have no shame
But I want it to endthe only question is how?
