Exciting thoughts are flitting thru my mind
Im all keyed up and my heart is beating
Faster all the time.
Im not quite sure where we stand
I dont know what youre thinking when you
Accidentally brush my hand.
Is it all in my head, the eye meets that we make?
Are you too shy to make the move and is that
An opportunity there I should take?
Okay so now youve looked away
Does that mean anything?
Should I be keeping my emotions at bay?
Ahhhh now its back - that electric eye meet
Theres a pleasant little shiver
That runs down my spine to my feet.
Looking quite casual I throw you a smile
You look disconcerted -
Damn now I want to run a mile!!!
Now youre chatting me up!
Im sure Im not mistaking
That saucy grin over your coffee cup!
Stop playing with me that is if youre playing...
Im a simple girl in a complicated world
